Default TC unlocking erratically

hey all, it's been quite a while since i posted, glad to be back... this has been happening more often the longer i own my car and put miles on it.. it's never seen the track and i dont really race it that often. i have 74000 on the odometer and drove home to ohio last weekend, about a 600 mile trip. anyway, as far as i know it dosent matter a whole lot at the speed but i'll be crusing and my verter will unlock and lock very quickly a few times. sometimes it will lock and stay locked for a while and sometimes it will stay unlocked. i know i'm not losing a gear cause i will pull it down to 3rd and put it back in 4th and it will shift nice and quick. mods in sig. i have no tune or anything on it. there was a few times when it was unlocked i would put it in neutral and shut the car off for a few seconds and start it back, and put it into gear, sometimes it would lock bacn up and sometimes it wouldn't. help!!

mine did that. ended up putting a lock up valve fix in mine. the valve body warps and distorts the valve bores. this fix involves drilling out the bore and putting the new larger piston in. just the part alone was $50. the special drill bit was almost $100.00 luckily i know someone with one that did it for me.

Check for codes. A faulty transmission manifold pressure switch (goes by different names, but here's a pic.. http://www.bulkpart.com/Merchant2/gr...0002/35515.jpg ) will probably set an 1810 code and can cause a similar problem.
