'99 Ls1/'01 Ls1 Maf Queston...
Will a MAF off of a 99 LS1 motor use the same electronics as a 2001 or is the programming different? In other words are the MAFS interchangeable or does a custom tune need to be done after the swap? Thanks!

should be the same. easy way to check, compare the part numbers.
from your other post, if you are going the 90/90 route you may want to consider this.
SD is another viable option.
EDIT:
Just re-read your post. If you are chaning a 75mm for a 75mm then yes, they should be interchangable. If you are upgrading from a 75mm to 85mm, then you will need to do some tuning. Tuning a MAF is not my favorite thing to do.

Thanks for the info...I've already got an SLP 85mm MAF to run with the 90/90 set up. I was asked by a guy who has an '01 that wanted some info about the MTI ported MAF I'm selling. I wasn't sure if there were any diff. in the '99 thru '01 LS1's other than some intake and exhaust changes GM made...
