Need to go through an Oil Pump, have ???
Is there anything special, o-ring, seal etc, to the oil pump? I have a shortblock waiting on the oil pump Chris "let me **** you over" Guilenau from rAPE was supposed to send, but as business ******* that screw people over go, the pump never showed up. So, I have a stock 02 LS1 Pump, never had an issue, figure might deburr it etc and then throw it in and call it good. Any help and advice is appreciated.

O ring (blue) for the pickup tube, shims if you have double roller chain.
assemble , windage tray, pickup tube and pump while motor out of engine bay, then put on your pan, much easier.

If it is not broken, why fix it. 02 pumps are LS6 pumps and plenty for the job, but if you really have to, it is up to you.
Increased pressures are done by shimming the spring in the pump.

Not really looking for more pressure, I think 60psi is good enough, 40 at idle, but thought there was benefit from opening them and smoothing out the casting flash or something. Guess I wont mess with it. Now to order a set of o-rings (like to have more than one on hand) and geterdone.
