Idler / tensioner pulley part number breakdown
I created this for search purposes because I had a hard time finding the part numbers.
I replaced my Tensioner pulley (grooved pulley) with Dayco PN 89015 ($15.94) from advance auto parts.
I tried to replace my Idler pulley (smooth pulley) with Dayco PN 89007 ($14.94) from advance auto parts BUT it rubbed and wouldn’t work. I removed the shields and ended up going with Dayco PN 89005 ($25.94) from Advance Auto Parts. That one worked great and didn’t rub at all.
I replaced BOTH A/C Idler and Tensioner with AC Delco PN 15-4670 OR 154670 ($30.99) from Congress Auto Parts. Advance auto didn’t recognize the PN.
I now have NO squeaks and everything works great . I hope this is helpful to some people! If anyone has some part numbers to add, please do!
