Default ASP or Powerbond Pulley?

Is the ASP worth the extra cash over the Powerbond?

ASP Harmonic Balancer Crank Pulley, 1998-2002 LS1 F-body - 214.99

Powerbond 25% Underdrive Crankshaft Pulley, 1998-2002 LS1 F-Body - ON SPECIAL - 174.99

What kinds of gains will I see on the dyno from the pulley? Getting cammed shortly, and I'm hoping for 400hp. Every little bit helps...

im going the same route as you. im getting a cam next week and thinking about getting the underdrive pully next. As what I have learned about the pully is that you won't feel much of seat of your pants gains, but it helps out more in the upper rpm range, so if you go with a cam that is for upper rpm's then its a worthwile investment.

Going TSP Magic Stick v3 here.

I'll likely get one, but I'd much rather get the Powerbond and save $50 compared to ASP, as long as there are no quality issues...

We sell alot more of the Powerbond than anything. They are very well made, and the price can't be beat!! We have in stock 1% and 25% for F body's and Corvette.

The powerbond pulley is the same one that SLP uses. It's stronger and made better than the ASP.

If Texas Speed is still having their deal, it is a steal...it comes with the belts, bolt, everything.
