about to buy a TA with 411 gears, I have some questions
I was originally looking to spend around 12k and find one around 50-60k, but i saw this one and want your imput. First of all, he will sell it to me for 9,200. It is a regular TA with ws6 hood, wheels, lowered, exhaust, stage 3 clutch, and 411 gears. It has 83,000 miles. Do you think that mileage is to high, also with 411 gears in a stock rear end, does that put more wear on the car or anything like that? Is it ok to have that gearing and that strong of a clutch in practically a stock car? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Mileage is all relative. For example, a car with 15,000 of hard driven miles or even a car with 1000 miles with 50 1/4 mile passes and 20 dynos will be worse than a car that has 83,000 highway miles.
I have 83,000 miles and while things will start to go (and have..alternator, power windows), it is fine.
Personally, I would not buy a modded car since it was probably driven hard...especially one with an aftermarket clutch. But, as per your question about added wear and tear from 4.10's...as long as they were put in correctly and broken in correctly, it will be fine.
But do not put sticky tires on that car...your 10-bolt will probably break with a clutch that grabs as well as that one.
