Cheap Place to get guideplates on South SiDE

Default Cheap Place to get guideplates on South SiDE

Ok so i need some guideplates for my heads on my LT1, but really dont want to wait on mail order ,being this is my only week to work on my car. Any body know any cheap places to get some for my car around South Houston/Pasadena/ Laporte area?

if you don't have them already, try Texas performance warehouse....prices are OK at best, but they usually have the stuff...

I need to get these today or i have to put my motor back with all of the stock crap. Can anybody help?

Didnt get the guys name that i talked to yesterday but he said he had them in stock. I wasted my gas to go out there only to be told it would take a few weeks to get them. Not only that but they told me my pushrods (after giving part #) ,that they wouldnt work with the guideplates that i am going to get, but told me i needed to spend 97.00 on their other rods.

I called comp cams and they verified that my pushrods were good for guideplates. I just dont like dipshits that could send me into wasting my little money that i have, so im steering clear of that place from now on. The guy at the counter looked at me like i was crazy when i said somebody told me to come pick them up.
