Default Rods?

HEY IM REBUILDING MY ENGINE. I ALREADY BOUGHT THE DIAMOND PISTON FLAT TOP W/-2CC VALVE RELIEF, 3.905 BORE/ 3.622 STROKE/ 6.098 RODS/ 1.340 COMP HEIGHT/ .945 X 2.5 WRIST PINS. I MAY HAVE A LITTLE EXTRA MONEY. U GUYS KNOW WHERE COULD I GET SOME FORGE RODS TO FIT THESE PISTONS. I SEE THAT IM GOING TO NEED 6.098 RODS, BUT THE ONLY ONES I SEE ARE THE 6.125 RODS. WILL THESE WORK? I HAVE A STOCK CRANK WITH P&P HEADS AND 266/266 585/585 112LSA CAM, AND STOCK ROCKERS. THANX FOR THE INFO

6.098" is the stock rod length.....you can use a 6.100" Eagle (or anyone else's) but 6.125" would put the top of the piston 0.025" higher than it should be (above the deck) and will require that much thicker gasket......

Yeah the cheaper alternative would have been SBC 6.125" rods and the pistons to match.

I Was Just Wondering Would I Be Better Off With The Stock Rods Which I Can Pick Up For $475 Brand New Or Should I Get The 6.1 Rod Which Are Around $600 Dollars. Im Building A Daily Driver Which I Would Spray 150-200 Once In A While. What Is Ur Oppinion?
