200-4r Swap
I'm putting a 200-4r behind an LS2. I have an LS1 flexplate from a 99 F body. I know the bellhousing bolt pattern is the same (minus one bolt) but from what I've read, I need a spacer from the converter and flexplate.
12563532 was the number I found for the spacer. Is this correct? Do I need anything else? Does this go between the flexplate and crank or between the flexplate and converter? Do I need any other spcaers/washers to bolt the converter to the flexplate? What is the proper gap between the flexplate and a fully seated and pushed back converter?
Thanks

yeah, I kow its weird, but I am wanting to put an old T5 behind an LS1 I just bought because I thought that I had a trani to fit it..... guess I don't after all... but I know theres surely a way to do it. I thought that you could maybe machine .400 off the mounting face on the flywheel cuz I thought that the crank sticks out farther on LS1 correct? .4000 to be exact.
Oh yeah, will a older flywheel even bolt up to the crank???
