For anyone on the fence about getting a ported throttle body.
I just sold my Shaner S3 and put a stock throttle body back on. The difference is night and day. I didn't notice so much when I went from a stock TB to the Shaner (maybe because the change was gradual as the computer learned it) but vice-versa is a big difference.
I'm an automatic and here's what I noticed straight off the bat:
Part throttle downshift takes a little longer
Part throttle doesn't pull as hard as it did
WOT downshift takes a little longer as well
WOT doesn't pull as hard as it did either
Car feels strange now without it, but oh well - the time has come to demod. So if you're wondering if a ported TB is worth it - yes, yes it is.
Just my experienced opinion.

Was this with a cable driven TB? I just sold my Shaner Ported TB too from my truck. I had a Drive by wire TB ported by shaner, and the PCM just did not agree with it with my cam and all. I liked the throttle response, but part throttle areas, it idled erratically.
