Question: Under Heavy acceleration=check gauge light comes on?

Default Question: Under Heavy acceleration=check gauge light comes on?

Like the title says guys and gals for some reason under heavy acceleration the check gauges light comes on, whether the car is in neutral or drive, doeas anyone know why, or has this happen to anyone? thanks for any and all advice anyone may be able to provide!!!

check your volts when you you rev the gas or get on it

yeah, try to look at the gauges when you are accelerating - use an empty road mabye your gas gauge is messing up, or your oil pressure drops, or like fstbrd said, or voltage.

Ya altenator is about to **** the bed. IF the voltage is dropping.
If it aint i would definatly say its the Oil pressure. I think taht is what it is. You sure that you have plenty of oil in it. GL

THis happened to me the other night after a rebuilt alternator install the day before. THen the voltage completely died and now its not charging. WHy would this happen to a newly rebuilt alternator?
