Default Temperature Gauge Not Reading

All of a sudden it quit reading. All I did since the last time it read was play with the wiring to the headlights/drl's, take the ground wiring or some strap off the pcv system going into the intake, and that is it. Any ideas? The gauge does not move at all. Thanks!

did you try checking the wiring coming off the coolant temp sensor? Its located on the driver side head twards the front by the exaust manifold/Header. Also you can remove the sensor and have it tested!
