Default Energy suspension tranny mount

Is the correct part # 3.1108G? I already bought one, but just to be sure I e-mailed Energy suspension and they said they do not make a direct replacment mount for my car (2002 Z28 M6).He said I could use this part but to call him before I install it otherwise I could cause drivetrain damage. Opinions?

I absolutely hated that tranny mount, your car will vibrate like crazy,it sucks,I removed mine, get the one from SLP much nicer, around the same price. Hell if you needed that mount I would have sold you mine for 10.00. I still have it, its just sitting in the box. If you do not install the backing plate the vibration is alot less. Go with the one from SLP.

that plate is a preload spacer and needs to be installed along with the mount....

and when i installed mine in an lt1 a4 it had little vibration for a week then it was unnoticable...

Just run it hard after you get it... mine was rough for 2 days, then i took it to the track and it was fine after that.

I just bought one tonight and plan on putting it in this weekend. Based on the new banging (I had Y-pipe banging before, but this is different) and the fact that my shifter seems to leap up during hard acceleration and bounces around in general, I have come to the conclusion that my stocker is toast after 91K miles.

My question is: Do I use the preload spacer or not? This seems to be the only thread that someone says to use it. Also, should I grind the nubs underneath? I'm looking for a good compromise... good solid feel, but don't want to be annoyed during daily driving.

I love mine. The tranny feels much more solid. Good investment.
