Default What platform is the GTO?

Y-body=vette, F-body=Camaro/Firebird, so what's the GTO?

V platform. Is a revised version of the old Cadillac Catera/new Cadillac CTS, and the Holden Monaro is the same car.

Since your all on the topic of body frames, what exactly do the Y and F-bodies stand for? Is it the way the frame looks or something?

I believe they're just chassis codes... Like the Fox body mustangs, MN12 which is the 89-97 Thunderbird, SN95/SN99 Which are some of the newer mustangs... Can't remember if they kept it for 05 and went with SN05. J-body's are the Cavaliers and sunfires. B-body's are the caprice's and impala SS's
