Default Any news on the Superhawk hood ?

I'm wondering what if anything VFN is doing with the superhawk hood, are they looking to bring it into production since they got all of the molds from Roger @ US Exotics ?? If so any ideas when it will be available or how much ?

Just wondering because there was a thread about this a while ago and there was never really a definitive answers on whether the superhawk would ever be produced or not

Hi Guys.
We were fortunate enough to work with Roger on this project.
We are completing the mold for this hood at this time - we are about a week or two away from completion.
We should have pics and pricing pretty soon on this item.
Thanks.
Jeanie

I was happy with my Firehawk hood.....now I want that one even though it looks similar. It just turns me on so much more.

The reason a roots blower will not fit a f-body without modification is not the hood, but rather the cowl, the area where your windshield wipers are.

It was posted a while ago, that a roots blower could work, but you would need to cut the cowl, and do modifications to get the windshield wipers to work.

VFN you really need to make a Mechem hood, Or style somthing like that. They are a rip off and you will make alot of money by making a hood that doesnt fit like ****. And fits better.

YOU SHOULD CONSIDER THIS!

The "nostrils" are taller and the opening seems to tilt back a little more as well as the shape of it is different, sharper in the corners, and it has heat extractors . I think thats everything....
