To short stick or not to short stick?

To short stick or not to short stick? My question is should I get the UMI or equivlent short stick. Or should wait and just save the dough for a Pro 5.0 or B&M ripper? Does the short stick make any difference with a stock Hurst shifter?

Get that UMI, you will LOVE it. After having it on mine, and then driving my buddies WS6 with the factory stick still on it, I HATED it!!! It was like having a rubber broom handle for a shifter.
If you choose to get a PRO 5.0 later, the UMI will bolt right up to it as well. Good luck!
