P0300 code - help please
Random misfire on #3 cylinder according to ATAPing. I switched #1 and #3 coils, cleared codes,, no change, still misfire #3.
Then I swapped the plug wires, cleared codes, still no hange.
I still have mifire on #3,,, and it is very noticable.
While ATAPing, only #3 is incrementing a bunch. Is it possible that its not actually #3?
Also, how do I conduct a test on individual coils?
Also, there is a procedure called CKP System Variation Learn, what is this, how is it conducted?
BTW, Prior to checking the cylinder location for the misfire, I changed all 8 plugs and both front O2 sensors. I had been running very rich. The plugs were all fouled up and the O2 sensors were very black and covered heavily. I figured the O2 sensors were not operating right and that led to the misfire, since the plugs were all fouled. So I changed all plugs and the O2 sensors. I figured this would get rid of the misfire, but it still persists.
Please help me out!
