Default ?'s about stock ATI bypass valve...

Is it adjustable like the race ready version? The reason I ask is that I would like for the butterfly valve to close earlier in a WOT run or if I give it ¾ throttle and overcome the vacuum. I took a look at my stock one last night and I think if I turn the adjustment screw clockwise this will put more pressure on the spring and should force the valve to close earlier and the opposite is true if you turn the screw counterclockwise. Has anyone done a little experimenting with the stock ATI bypass valve? What were your conclusions? Thanks.

I tweaked mine closed just a bit. Boost seems comes on a bit sooner as well. I have only gone 1 turn so far have not gone any more lately.

We close the adjusting screw almost all the way shut so it only opens at 20inches of vacume or more under decel. Then we tweak the ve table for fuel and the cars low end
power is awsome. All we want it to do, is open under decel when the vacume and backpressure is greatest.

Interesting.. Marco's Car needs this bad as this tuning is setup for the bypass valve to be re-routed back into the inlet tube.. Now it's blowing to the open air and it's causing him some tuning problems.
