Default Hey Guys tell me what yall think!

My Trans Am is a 99 with 130K and did the Fernco mod and polished the TB out, and I took it out for a test spin a.k.a drove the **** out of it. I feel bad when I drive my car like that with that many miles. You think itll hurt it cause the miles? I took it that the engine ya know is built for that kind of stuff cause its a hi-performance engine. Are the LS1 blueprinted and balanced at the factory when built? Please get back to me Im curious. Thanks

it doesn't matter how hard you drive it as long as you mantian such good oil change intervals and such. no the ls1's are not balanced. don't feel bad as i am always told at the shop cars like to be driven hard. but there is a difference between hard and abused. just give her a rub on the dash and take care of her

Nah, my motor made it over 160k before taking a crap, and that's being dogged it's entire life and with a 150 shot on it always (this was BEFORE I got it)

They're all going to wear down eventually though.
Unfortunately they did not come blueprinted and balanced.
