What are the best free mods? Just wondering what the best free mods would be for an 02 Camaro SS, and is the Weiand intake manifold worth the money or does anyone have other suggestions.

stick with the ls6 thats on it until you are at the point in which you need to get a fast 90mm. the best free mod is porting your own TB. 5-10 rwhp in many cases. If you don't have the tools or time to do it yourself many members and sponsers here will port it for you at a price. porting is fast and simple on these TB's and well worth the effort. outside of that theres not much that you can do for free that'll gain you much of anything.

Cutting out the bottom of the airbox and sealing the factory slot is a great way to get cooler air into the engine. It will flow more air than the factory opening(except if you have a WS6 or Firehawk ram air setup). Won't give you much hp, but every little bit helps.

do not switch your ls6 intake for the weiland. not woth it. your ls6 intake flow just as good or better then the weiland.
If you do buy the weiland, you can go ahead and send that ls6 intake this way.
