Default What should I be trapping with my power level?

I dynoed not too long ago and it put down 460 rwhp and 470 rwtq. My car is an M6 with stock gears and weighs roughly 3750 with me in it. So with that info what would you expect this car to trap in the 1/4?

Thx for the site. It seems to be off on my N/A estimation, I usually trap 119-121 mph, but is dead on on my n20 estimation.

You aren't going to know until you strip it, people can guess all day long, but you can't replace real world figures.

Good god! is that thing inaccurate! According to that, my car puts down 491 horse at the wheels at 3830 lbs, and 465 @ 3630 lbs to run 118 mph traps

Guess MSD's coils are worth more power than I thought

Some of the calculators are way wrong, the ET one with your input(DYNO#s) has been dead on for my car. The big problem was when I picked up 3mph with BGRA and put me in the 11's with no Dyno #'s. That screwed that Hp Calc. for me.

It nailed my N/A numbers but was off by a decent amount on my spray numbers.

The reason Im asking is I think I should be trapping more than I do even though I do granny shift so that might cause it trap lower. Im 3750 lbs race weight and trap usually 119-121 on motor.

Well Ive never sprayed it in first gear because my rear is stock still but hitting the switch just as Im about to shift out of second and spraying through fourth I trap 130 mph. If I had a rear and could spray out of the hole if should trap in the 135-138 range.

I have a similar power to weight ratio NA in my '94. I trap high 119 to low 120 in the three times it's been to the track with the new motor.

Have not sprayed at the track yet, still getting the bugs worked out of the new combo.
