Any danger to my LS1 after H/C before getting a tune?
Ok, first off - I've searched for hours and answered 90% of the questions I have.
My plans: Already have a TR224 114lsa and plan on getting TEA st 1.5 5.3L heads.
My car: 02 WS6 M6, full I/E, STOCK tune.
My question: After I install the new heads, I'm going to have to drive about 400-500 miles before I get a dyno tune (Rapid Motorsports). Naturally I'm going to have to go to WOT a couple times to make sure everything is fun and gravy (damn right foot...)
Will I risk any damage to my engine, or will it be fine temporarily once the computer figures things out a bit?

On stock tune, I would refrain from going WOT. This is where the damage might occur if going lean on top rpms.
Stoich (normal cruising) should not be affected much.
My advice is drive it but do not go WOT or you might be sorry.
500 miles the easy way is much cheaper than excessive motor damage.
