3500rpm backfire shoots flames from the car??? Ok in 2nd gear as i let out and the car winds down everytime at 3500rpm it backfires. I have long tubes no cats no AIR, and a Borla. As the car reaches above 3500 at night it blows a 15-20' flame from the pipes and sounds like *** of a shot gun blast as it winds back down. i know backfires are normal sometimes.
My question is, is this going to hurt anything? And what can I do to fix it?

My friend has a loud mouth and his backfires at the same RPM when comming down but im not sure if it shoots out flames or not but I think this is pretty normal for untuned moded LS1
