Default Atco 12/3 anyone?

I must be nuts. I'm going to be in western mass visiting family the weekend of 12/3. I figured Atco is only 2.5hrs from there so maybe I'll grab my brother-in-law and head down. Am I wasting my time? I mean, any guesses on what the track will be like that late in the season?

I won't be able to rest till I have a 12sec timeslip. I was so damn close last time but had to let off the gas before the finish line cause my crank spun on the balancer. Scared the **** out of me.

I might be interested in going, Etown is done this week and I still want to get into the 13s. Never been to Atco.

i think atco is farther away from western mass than 2 hours. I am about 40 minutes from NYC and it would take me about 4 hours . Atco is South Jers, it's probably a 2 hour hike for someone that lives in north jers.

thats direction estimate/time estimate if you are in West Lebanon NY (close enough to west mass)

If it's not very cold by then, I would go anyway! But if its pretty cold down there i wouldnt bother. I am not an expert but I dont think too cold of weather is good track conditions from what i've heard

Sounds like a good plan to go this weekend. If I could get there, I would watch and see as much as possible. Gathering ideas and specifications for my Camaro, as soon as I am able to get one.

Good call steph. It's 250miles from Westfield. hmm, that's pretty far. Probably 4hrs. maybe it's not worth it.

I live 40 Min. from Atco. I always have a good time. Probably there once a week.Everyone from my area prefers Atco over E - Town. It's much more layed back and typically faster, but still a very long ride for you. Good luck if you go.
