Default Difference between the truck coils and camaro/corvette coils?

What are they? Which is better and why?

I always hear of the big horsepower guys referring to the truck coils they use.

Supposedly they have a higher saturation or dwell than the LS1 coils, but I have yet to see anyone prove this. In the LS1/LS6 Performance book they mention that GM Engineers said there is no difference other than suppliers.

Even a GM engineer desribes them a "little better". There are guys making big HP on the stock LS1 coils.
