Have maggie...Does cam need to go?
Car is an 03 Z06, AFR 205's kooks 1 3/4 lt's, magnaflow cats. Borla stingers, hp tuners.
The cam is LG X1 228/232 588/574 114 LSA
I have a brand new Maggie in the boxes, but am not sure whether I want to throw it on or sell it and wait to go for a big cube engine.
My question is... If I decide to do the maggie, should I dump the cam?
Any thoughts?

I agree. You may lose a little boost with that cam like I did. I switched to a smaller pulley to get my boost back...I was at 6.5psi with a 3.1 pulley and switched to a 2.9 and now get 8.5 The stock 3.4 pulley will probably make 5psi of boost on your car. If it does just switch to a 3.1 and retune.. You will love the maggie... Here's my car 2004 C5 Silver M6, I/C Magnacharger, Vararam, B&B's, Kooks 1 7/8", cam 224/224 .581 lift
Magnacharger#s486RWHP/456RWTQ in 102 degree weather, 6.5psi boost.. Now running 8.5psi of boost. New dyno numbers comming I'm sure I am over 500rwhp now. I run a 125mph 1/4mile spinning the street tires the first 100ft...

How does a pulley, smaller by less than 7%, yield a boost increase of >30%???
Are you sure about those sizes?

If so, I've been emailing him about options for my son's 01 C5 also with maggie. It broke some ring lands. You may have some thoughts on that one as well.
I bought the 01 and a month or so later the 03 Z. I sell maggies for sport compacts and got a good deal on 2 vette kits.
The 01 was a dog (I have a 10 second Miata), but the Z was alright (over 400 rwhp) The Z maggie is still in the box , but needs to come out once I finish the 01. (Gotta try and keep up with the kid)

Search this forum as well for ring lands. I found some where supposedly the car ran fine with them broken...
