Default cruise control removal

Im removing the cruise control right next to the battery but when i pulled the cables the one connected to the pedal is too short to work on my throttle body. How can i fix this? Is there another way to go about removing this? Thanks'

that is acutally for the traction control too. you will have to get the cable from a non traction control & non cruise car.

Like stated above you are removing the TCS/ASR, the cruise module is on the driver side below the ABS module, unbolt it, unplug the harness (I cut my harness and removed relays and fuses) undo the cable and then enjoy the weight savings I figured up around 12lbs.

Sounds good Im removing the TCS/ASR anyhow so i guess im in the market for a new cable. What if i cut the black piece and made it shorter so the cable that comes out is exactly the right size as the one that is currently on the TB? Would this work?

IMHO when dealing with the throttle, dont rig anything, get a throttle cable off of a non TCS/ASR car, or go to the dealership and order a new one and do it right, it might pay off in the future.
