Anyone converted newer style 2001 camaro console into older 94 camaro?If so how hard and any tips also.

it is pretty easy a buddy of mine did that swap from an 02 camaro to a 91 camaro and it was pretty easy

Doing the conversion is very easy. The 97+ consoles have a peg on them that 93-96 doesn't have, so you'll have to either drill a hole through the metal bracket that the peg is supposed to go through, or you cut the peg off. Personally, I recommend just drilling the hole because it helps with the rigidity of the console. There will be a bracket that's in clear view where the 93-96 tape holder bolts to (you can see the bolt in the center of the inside of the tape holder), the 97+ console won't hide that bracket, so personally I just took a fluffy snowhat and shoved it back there. It doesn't look stock, but at the same time it's not too noticable and doesn't make your eyes instantly go there. Otherwise, upgrading the console is a GREAT thing to do.
