Is the drill mod necessary on the 04 gto

Default Is the drill mod necessary on the 04 gto

I'm getting ready to install a stage 3 spec clutch. Is th drill mod necessary for the 04 gto and what are the benefits and how is it done.

I just referred to install university and I can see how drilling the restriction out would help with the clutch engagement but the 04 gto does not have the braided line. The line on the gto looks just like a brake line that goes from the master to the slave. So my guess is no but I'm still not sure if I'm looking at the rite line even though I see only one line connecting to the master and thats the one that leads to the slave.
