Default Rearend Gone, Need Source for 12-bolt from those with 12-bolt (need to order ASAP)

Stock 10-bolt rearend is gone, no surprise there. Need advise from those that have replaced their 10-bolt with 12-bolts, I have read the various posts and polls and a Moser with 3.73s seems to be the way to go for my 1998 A4 Camaro. Sticking with the 10-bolt when it will likely cost $600-$700 for a rebuild does not make a lot of sense to me.

It appears that the new rearend will run around $2200.00 and the install cost varies. Where is a good place to get a Moser as there are various sponsors? I am also concerned about the gear setup as I've heard so many stores about them coming from the factor wrong etc. I have a local shop that I feel can do a good job on the rearend install.

I purchased mine from Speed, Inc. and picked it up myself since I only live 20 miles from Moser Engineering. I have about 8k miles on mine now with no issues. I got the 33-spline axles and Heavy Duty posi options with 1350 yoke. There are a few things you will need for the install but all in all it went pretty good.

I got mine with every option from Speed Inc for 2279. Reg price is 2399, but I had them match Speed Engineering's sale price.

Our current price for a Moser 12 bolt with a True Trac posi, combined with 33 spline axles, ABS or ABS/TCS, and the Performance Cover, along with the $35.00 Moser crate fee, is $2,350.00. Moser recently had a price increase, I doubt (I'm hoping... lol) you will find a lower price that my $2,350.00. Shipping is not included in this price. Moser sends the 12 bolts by freight transport, and the freight companies collect the shipping cost from the customer when the rear is delivered. Bob
