McLeod Master cylinder w/ Textralia
Is anyone using their McLeod Master cylinder with a Textralia clutch?
Jeff(textralia) recommended that I do not b/c it can overthrow the fingers of the pressure plate and they can lose their memory(return pressure).
But then he mentioned if I was having engagement problems with a stock master, then I should try the Mcleod.
I'm just wondering if anyone has ironed this out? Like maybe screw the rodlink end all the way down so it is the same length as a stock one and go from there as to not damage it.
Unless I get some good input, I guess I will be buying a stock MC and installing it.
Thanks,
Jeff

The McLeod/CNC master's bore is larger than a stocker slightly.
So fluid volume is different than a stocker.
A stock Master modified to be adjustable will prolly work just fine for you.

Do you know if a Y-body Master will work on an F-body? I called my friend at the dealership and I can get one for an 04 Z06 for $124. and the one for the 98-02 F-body is $149.
Guys put Z06 clutches in F-bodies, so I would think the hydraulic setup would be the same.

I pretty sure the master's are different though.
The F-car master comes w/ the line as well.
You could sell the line, they are sometimes in demand due to it being the only way you can get them.
The Y body may be just the same master sans line? But I wouldn't be willing to buy & try.

I did find out yesterday that they are different. So I think I'm just gonna get a stock modified adjustable from New Era Performance for $159.. That way it will have some adjustability, and still not overthrow the pressure plate fingers hydraulically. Thanks Wrencher!

I'll just hang on to my McLeod Master, instead of selling it, because you never know?!?!
