Default ls1edit question about licenses...read/program PCM

so i bought this car used and it comes with ls1edit cable and license.
i had it tuned a few months back by cartek.
yesterday i tried for first time looking at the tune.
i was able to download it just fine; i can read the PCM.

when i went to upload the file, i got error:
No more Licenses Available
This PCM is not licensed
if you wish to program this PCM, please go to www.carputing.com for info on ordering add'l licenses.

the VIN that is displayed during both of these processes are the same. so why the conflict?

Did Cartek use YOUR cable to tune your car? If so, then contact carputing and tell them whats going on.

either your cable was used on a different car, OR Cartek changed you PCM VIN.
You can read any car within the year-range of your cable, but only need licenses to write.

if the problem is with the RX7 in your sig, I bet they had more than one PCM during the setup of the car, and the one that is in the car is NOT the one that the license was for.

Licenses are pretty cheap, I'd just buy another.
