Default RPS Clutch? or Carteck clutch?

My car is almost done and I have been trying to find a clutch that will handle 900 tq at the tire launching hard on slicks. I have tryed Spec clutchs which they told me that the 3F would take around 700 tq and when I tryed it, it slipped at around 400 and welded it self to my flywheel in under 2500 miles. I want a clutch that will last atleast 5000 miles with out slipping and be able to make several high nine passes in the 140's not just one pass atleast 10. This is in a Corvette so pulling the clutch is not a cheap thing so I would like to get it right the first time. I want to know how the RPS clutch does and how the carteck clutch does?
Thanks,
Matt

I have the RPS unit, and I absolutely love it. Will it hold 900 rwtq? I don't think you'll find a streetable clutch to do that unless it's the McLeod street twin. I dont think you'll find a single disc with great manners that will hold a **** ton of power.

But FWIW, I have had no problems with my RPS. I daily drive it and beat the **** out of it. It never chatters. Not even when starting up in the morning at 30 degrees. Very smooth pedal feel. It literally feels like cutting butter. You will understand if you install it.

call up Andy at A & A corvettes. He helped me find a clutch for my needs. Seems like you need something beefier.

The RPS is rated 500/550. The Cartek is good for about 750.
