6.0L heads on a 3.900" bore engine?
Is there anythig wrong with using the 6.0L heads on the stock 3.900" bore engine block? will the larger diameter combustion chamber hurt anything with it shrouding the cyllinder? And does this choice make your head gasket choice important?
I am just thinking this over because I have a set of #317 6.0L heads brand new and want to know if its worth using them on a standard bore stroked engine?
Anyone got any experience with this combo?
Thanks.

You will drop your compression useing those heads. We have used them on stock bore blocks before but only with a turbo or SC, they will work but you will lose a lot of power on an N/A motor.

Yeah...thats what I was thinkin'....But i just wanted to know if they have been used on standard bore blocks before , and what they were used for. It does seem that they get used on boosted applications....So they are probably not for me. Time to sell 'em and buy a good set that matches my application.

Lose a lot of power? Like how much do you think?
