Default Spark plug gap??

I just installed the tr55's as they came. I checked the gap and they were .055. Is that cool with the MS3 and heads? All of them come gapped at .055 from the box correct?

I bought a lot of TR55s a few years ago just to be stocked up when I needed them. I'm still using those "older" batches. Back then, they came gapped at .059 out of the box. I was not aware they reduced the gap to .055. Wonder when that happened? Fine by me though, I usually tighten the gap up to .055 anyway.

I think you'll be just fine @ .055.
Every batch of TR55s I've bought
have been pregapped at .059
except the last batch, which was
.060, I believe. (5 plug changes).

I put my last tr55's at .050 when I put them in.

.055 is fine. I always check the gap on my plugs before I put them in, it only takes a second or two per plug, gives me peace of mind, and is the smart thing to do.
