I have a 1998 4x2 Ranger and was looking at one of these for it:

I owe nothing and it can be an "at my leisure" project... PLUS- I get cost & 10% on Ford Parts.

V8 in a ranger.. neat project, but a little nose heavy.

I know alot of people that put v8's in s-10 pickups, they are fun, but teh constant wheelspin, nad ill handling gets old in a hurry. One guy I know is transplanting GN motor into one, that should be intresting....

with it set up correct, the truck will fly. There is a certain turbo S10 that runs consistant mid 6's on the pro edelbrock shoot out. Wheelspin no problem for him...

Scotty you know what I mean... not a race truck, a street one that someone does the transplant on. I think that Bob's all done with race cars.

stock suspension yes just like most anything with lightweight and alot of power. you can set it up correctly and get them to hook and handle extremly well

they even have bolt in 4 link and coil over setups now for s-10's and panbar kits to keep it even more centered
