Default 4channel to 3channel abs

Ok i had a 10bolt in my car that had 4 channel abs i got a 12bolt i just swaped in the car that had 3channel the connectors where the same and it all plugged in my question is will it work or will the ABS light be on

It will not work. There are multiple differences between three-channel and four-channel systems. The four-channel (Traction Control) system not only senses the speed of both rear wheels, it also controls (modulates) rear wheel braking pressure individually. The three-channel system uses a single brake line for both rear wheels.

No it will not work. You also need the toner rings on the axles and the correct 4 channel backing plates with the sensors, wiring, ect.
