Default Royal pruple gear oil for moser 9"

Just wondering if I could use the royal purple gear oil in my moser 9" Does anybody know what weight it calls for like 75 90w??? Could I use this gear oil in my moser - It's sythentic - They said moser dont recommend sythentic but why is that?? Sythentic is supposed to be the best stuff. - Any help would be great

What type of diff is it? you'd fine with a High Quality petro based oil...especially if its a limited slip unit Most applications in street vehicles never reach a point where the capabilites of a Quality conventional gear oil is surpassed.. but what do I know

If you want to use royal purple in the Moser , its perfectly okay. I have it in my Ford nine Tractech locker. Not by choice , just because it was either RP or some generic stuff , I knew nothing about.
Side note If Moser set your gears up you may want to double check the setup .
