Default Porting FAST 90mm by TEA

When i've been able to get search function to work, i've read lots of threads about getting the intake ported.

Seems that Tony w/ AFR is the guy to get the job done, but charges alot right?

Here's my dilemma. I've got a set of TEA 1.5 heads. I've only been able to find ONE person w/ the same setup (G5x2) and i dont know if he used TEA or not. I PM'd him, maybe he'll respond.

I'd like to use TEA b/c 1. I read its cheaper 2. they'd be able to port match my heads exactly.

Anyone have first hand experience? Any pics??

Any help is appreciated guys.

Supporting mods are going to be:

G5X3, Pacesetter LT's, Custom 3in Dual exhaust (xpipe), TEA 5.3L Stage 1.5 Heads, NW90 TB, ASP UD Pulley.

I used a set of 5.3 TEA 1.5's, and an UNPORTED FAST90mm LSX sitting on top of them. Car made 480rwhp with a TSP 231/237 cam.

I too wanted to port the intake with TEA, but unported, the thing made killer numbers. Of course every little bit counts. When I called, the TEA guys said it would be result in minor gains, but would have gladly done the job for me if I would have sent them the manifold.

Good luck, either way.

thank you for the info. Did he tell you how much they'd charge you to do it?

Don't recall. It was over a year ago.

If they have the heads on site, might as well have them port matched.
