on my 01 z28 m6.

I have hooker lts, ory, exhaust dump and a flowmaster. I keep the dump covered unless I'm racing. So for street driving the exhaust is going through the flowmaster, which to me sounds like crap, the baffles in the flowmaster rattle a terrible frequency (it did sound great before the header install)

I'm wondering which muffler everyone has been happy with after installing LTs ory(no cats)?

I'm looking at hooker, magnaflow and maybe mufflex?

any opinions?

How many of you notice a slightly rich smell of fuel in the exhaust, since removing your cats and installing LTs and ORY? and how is your gas mileage did it decrease or increase?

Hooker Muffflers sound nice and flow really well. I have heard one GMMG exhaust and it sounded good too.

My exhaust smells lean at idle(kinda burns your nose) and rich when you rev it(smells like an outboard boat motor)

i was thinking about replacing my flowmaster with a hooker!

yeah my car is just running very rich, you can smell it in the cab and on your clothes after driving!

I might have to get it dyno tuned, I wanted to wait until after a cam install but oh well!

magnaflow and hooker both sound good.

I have magnaflow and a friend has hooker. His is just a little bit louder but he has drone while cruising. I don't get that with the magnaflow.
