Hey everyone. I'm still mulling around all my hood options and trying to figure out how comfortable I would be with a pin-on hood. I need to see pictures of Camaros, Trans Ams, just f-bodies in general with pin-on hoods so I can get an idea since I've never really seen any in person. I have a related question: What are the lowest profile locking hood pins? Thank you and Happy Holidays.

i see very few f-bodies with hood pins. its a really big hood to do that,doesnt look good imo

dzus fasteners are the low profile almost flush mounting pins you'll see on pro class racecars. there's a 98+ camaro here with a pin on ss hood that drives around all the time, looks pretty good.

I was thinking of it because it is even lighter that way and would like to save a lot of weight, not to mention about $100.
