Default Air temp sensor on turbo

the temp sensor that was originally plugged into the air lid. What do you Turbo people do? Do you need it?

Yes you do need it. I would go with the thread in style though. Its very important for the PCM to see IAT this way your tunner can pull timing according to the temp of the air coming into the motor.

Depending on the boost level you can just pull out the stock grommet and drill a hole in the piping, then cram it all in there. Running higher boost you can get one that screws in then weld a nut to the pipe.

where do you get these screw in sensors? and nuts?
