Default lexan glass

who has this and how do you like it and does it leak... about how much weight does it take off for the front and for the back and who sells it.. thanks

also, does it scratch or turn yellow?? i drive it to work that is 4 min away and race it and thats it and maybe a weekend cruiser and i have to replace at least the front one anyways ... thanks

there are some companies that make it, like speedglass i think, with a protective coating so you can use wipers on it, pretty dang pricey though.

I`ve "heard" with the speed glass and a fiber hatch you save around 70 off the rear. I had a lexan hatch window in my 83 F-body and it dose scratch easy. I`ve read on this fourm that speed glass dose not scratch as bad with the scratch resistant coating (or scratch at all). Other than the lexan window on my 83 I don`t have any other experience with any other lexan or lexan equivalent glass products. I hope this may help a bit. I`ve been considering a VFN rear hatch with Speed glass but I still need to get my VFN hood on and I really need to quit spending money on this car and think about buying a house.
