Default will this 9 inch fit my car?

a good friend of mine has a really nice ford 9inch. its in his 89 camaro (3rd gen) Its never seen the track, and he needs some $$. full suspension set up in the rear too. i dont think he had the torque arm mounted on it, for he said the rear doesnt need it or something (some old timer told him that). My question is, will the 9 inch fit my 98 trans am? (4th gen) He said even the driveshaft is fine to use with no modification. i would just have to change his drum brakes for my disc brakes, and also take off my TCS and ABS and put it on the 9 inch. will it all work??? i really hope it will.

The 3rd. gen. axle is narrower, the u-joint in your driveshaft will need to be changed out to a conversion u-joint, and if you want to use your 4 chanel ABS you will need to buy a new set of axles that have been made to accept you ABS rings.

Moser Engineering can make a set, you can visit their site and get a order sheet.
