Default 4.11 gears will they affect me passing smog in CA

I am getting a moser 12-bolt for my bird and was wondering if the 4.11 gears will make me fail smog. Just wondering because they test the cars on there dyno at different speeds and with the 4.11 gear my rpm's are going to be higher at there test speeds than with stock gear so I am thinking the higer rpm's at there test is going to produce more smog.

Does any one in ca have 4.11 gears and smog there car or any one know if 4.11 affect smog.

j/k man... but honestly... they shouldnt cause any problems... the 4.11's arent going to put your rpm's at 6K. Probably wont be much more then 1K over stock... which wont make a big enough difference.

CA sucks can't do **** to your car if you want to drive it on the street. The cops pulled me over just cause my exhaust and it is not even that loud they had me pop the hood and started asking me about what I had done to the car and I told them I had changed the oil to synthetic and that was it. Then he told me to stop being a smart ***. I just played like I didn't know anything about car and told him I bought the car like this and then he asked me if the car passes smog I said yes and showed him the smog cert that I had from three months ago. f the police

4.11 will put you at higher rpms, even if cruising in 6th. so at this point it becomes a question of how well is your car tuned for partial throttle operation. cams with huge overlap dont' help either. the good part about huge cams is that they're really inefficient (comparatively to stock cams) at <3000rpm, so as long as you keep it low on rpms and your tuning is decent, you should be fairly clean.

Don't worry as long as you have working cats, just change the oil, warm the car and make sure it is in closed loop. A good blast down the freeway will get you ready.

BAR-97 Emissions Inspection System is what they use. I did inspections in Texas for a while I would pull plug wires on total POS to see if they would pass and as long as the cats were lit up a car with 2 dead cylinders would pass.
