Default PROBLEM WITH K&N COLD AIR INTAKE-HELP

I just installed a k&n cold air intake on my 2004 vho(6.0 HO Chevrolet truck) and now i am getting a little lifter chatter when i give it some gas at around 40 and 60 mph. It is making the same noise as if i was using 87 octane gas (i use 93 octane). My only other mod is a custom magnaflow cat back exhaust and this started right after i installed the k&n cold air intake. Has anyone experienced this and am i damaging my engine should i remove the cold air intake.

thanks
rick

The intake isn't going to make the lifters chatter.
Its just allowing more air to reach the engine so it works more efficiently.

Brandon, I thought it might be getting to much air and affect the way the gas is getting burned

peace

Put the stock filter and pipe back on and see if it fixes the problem...
