After a headers install has anyone left their wire harness in place? I did because i couldn't get the wire loose from the starter & now i get a funny smell after driving, is this just from the coating on the heat wrapping or should i cut/splice in wires & route them some where else?

The headers will smell funny untill the paint/coating seats in.

Be sure to check the harness near the headers to ensure it's not getting too hot.

Yeah I was trying to figure out what he was talking about.

Its just from the headers...its a good smell too
