Default Low 11's possible with 150 N2O shot and few mods?

1999 A4 Camaro:

Here are the numbers as I see it. Please comment/correct where needed.

Stock = 13.5 at 103 mph
add lid = 13.4 at 104 mph
add underdrive pulley = 13.3 at 105 mph
add free ram air mod = 13.2 at 106 mph (2.0 sixty-foot)

add M/T drag radials = 12.9 at 106 mph (1.8 sixty-foot)

add 150 hp wet nitrous shot with window switches, retard, and progressive controller = 11.3 at 119 mph (1.7 sixty-foot)

If these numbers are all reasonable, then would the car just be a small cam (Z06?) OR a torque converter OR 3.73 gears away from 10's?

All the above through the stock exhaust...

Youd be lucky to run 13.5 in a stock a4. Depending on gears 13.60's-70's would be a more conservative estimate. Good luck though, that would be sweet if you did hit 10's with those mods.

doubtful, but possible. the 10's however, i dont see with a small cam and small stall. The nitrous will definately help, but a rather large stall and reasonably sized cam will be needed. From what ive heard, getting into the 12's and 11's are relatively easy(stall, nitrous, sticky tires), but the 10's are a big leap to get into. Just thought I would share what ive heard.

I would guess that having around 500 hp with the few bolt-ons and 150 nitrous shot would not be enough to get into the 10's unless the car was put on a diet.

I would also guess that getting a decent 60-foot REQUIRES a 3500+ stall converter, at least 3.73 gears, and sticky tires to get out of the hole.

So low 11's would likely only be possible with the gear and converter...right or not??

10's might be possible with a two stage nitrous shot 100 + 100.

Isn't 550hp about the limit for the stock rods?

Thanks,

I ran many 11.3's a few years ago with my ONLY mods being a cut-out, ET streets, MAFT, and a dry 150 shot. The car was a 98 SS A4 with a raceweight of 3600#. It dynoed 454 rwhp and 547 rwtq unlocked at the time. A good nitrous stall and a true 150 rwhp shot on some slicks would get you really close with a great track prep IMO. This is assuming you spray outta the hole and through the shifts too.
