Default going back steel d/s?

Ok...I cant afford an aftermarket driveshaft at the time so here is my question......

1.will a 93-97 steel driveshaft be a direct bolt in to my 98 ls1?
2.are all 93-97 lt1 camaro/ta driveshafts the same?
3. most importantly would this hold 500rwhp launches on a 9" rear a little better than my factory aluminum d/s?

how much should i expect to pay for an old steel d/s and how much should I get for selling mine?

thanks so much in advance.
and yes this would be temporary until I can get the good stuff.

Default

93-97 steel wil fit. LS1's with 2:73 gears also had steel driveshafts. Yes they will be MUCH stronger than the aluminum ones. I twisted mine in two. I found an LS1 steel one for $50.
