Default what wheel tire would look ok on a non lowered pewter TA

just wondering about a good look for my pewter TA
didnt go the lowered way because I m putting bilsteins hd on stock springs

but I know I have to do something about my 16inch and skinny 245s !

so I m thinking about a wheel/tire combo around 1000, and I d like to put
nitto 555 or some other nice sticky tires

that would great if you could include some pics to compliment your imput !

thanks

I wonder if anyone makes that wheel(y2k5) with a 2-3 inch deep lip in the back?

That would look sick!!!

i kind of like the 17/18 look too, some wheels dont really work on trans am , now take in consideration that my car is not lowered.
I think y2k would look decent
I kind of d like to go with silver painted, a good stealth look for my pewter ta
but I m open to chrome or polished, now if anybody would sell y2k black or gunmetal without rivets, I would go for that right away !
I found 17/18 on ebay for 500 shipped and insured,
so apparently I m goign somewhere here...

No wheels look good if the car is not lowered.

unless there 15x10... i have yet to see a car with the c6 wheels that i dont like.. the gunmetal zr1's are also nice but i agree with the other guys about the y2k c5s.. theyre simple and they look great.. have never seen any with a lip though

The only setup that comes close to looking decent on a non-lowered car are the 17x11 rears, and preferably 17x9ish up front You are gonna need all the tire you can fit to fill up some of that space
